Happy Birthday Granny

John heard Granny really wanted to see a video of him walking for her birthday, so he was happy to make this one for her. He's actually been walking for a few weeks and is getting better every day.

UNC-Notre Dame 10/10-10/11

We all went to Chapel Hill for the UNC-Notre Dame football game the weekend of Oct 10th-11th. On the 10th, we went out to eat with Kristy and Matt to celebrate Davis's first birthday the week before.

Sippy Cup

We are trying to get John to use a sippy cup...so far he mostly just plays with it, but here you can see he is getting pretty close to using it.

John loves to stand up these days. I put him in his pack n play for a minute before work the other week to get his bag for daycare ready, and I looked over and saw this!
He was so proud of himself.

We went down for the weekend with Josh's parent on their vacation to North Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago...here are some pics!

Man on the move

John has been trying really hard to crawl for several weeks now. Just yesterday, on his 8 month birthday, he finally got the hang of it! Of course he is going for his favorite "toy"..the telephone!

Teeth

We took advantage of John napping last weekend at the beach to try to get a shot of his teeth! These two have really come in and he seems to be working on some more somewhere else right now.

Tickle Me Elmo

John loves Elmo and all things Elmo, so we bought him a Tickle Me Elmo. I don't think he quite gets it yet, but still has fun with it. (and of course, it wouldn't be a video of John if he didn't puke at the end)

John is still working very hard to crawl, but hasn't quite gotten the hang of going forward consistently yet. He is also working on pulling up and standing, so I have a feeling any day now we're going to have quite the mover and shaker.
